I'm Gary Arnold, founder of Trinity Financial Ministries.
My sermon will teach you everything I believe the average Christian needs to know about money and finance, according to the bible. I present, in depth, the scripture to find out what God really tells us about tithing, giving, good stewardship of our money and finances, financial blessings, and more.
Am I going to repeat what you have already heard preached many, many times? Absolutely not. I hope to open your eyes to the truth as you have never seen it before.
|
I ask that you receive my message with an open mind. You don't have to agree with everything I say. Most likely some of what I preach will contradict your current beliefs. Whether we agree or disagree, I say this: Don't take my word for it. Don't take your pastor's word for it. Pray and study the scripture yourself to determine God's truth.
I have found that when it comes to money and finance, many pastors were taught wrong, and as a result, they teach it wrong. They are merely teaching what they were taught. Some pastors are actually afraid that if their members knew the truth, they wouldn't give as much and the church would suffer financially. I see this as lack of faith.
Before I go any further, let me explain my motives. First, I believe that the truth must be taught. Time is running out. Only the truth can set us free. I believe that accurate teaching results in blessings to the teacher and to all who receive the message. I do not believe that God would allow a local church to suffer financially if a pastor discovers his message is false and he corrects it and now teaches the truth. I believe that everyone loses when the teaching is false, and that everyone wins when the teaching is correct.
I believe that God has called me to teach the truth. As such, I believe it is my duty, as a born again believer, a Christian, to answer His call. God has given me so much. This is one way I can give back. I ask nothing in return. I do not solicit donations for my ministry. In fact, I won't accept any donations. I don't want your money. In 1st Corinthians chapter 9 verse 18 (NIV), Paul says:
18 What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make use of my rights in preaching it.
Friends, I thank The Lord for putting me in a position where I am able to preach the gospel, free of charge, just like Paul.
