INTRODUCTION Tithing Today consists of three, completely different studies on tithing and giving. Starting with the basics, you will gradually build on your knowledge of tithing and giving. We suggest you start with Part 1, then proceed to Part 2, and end with Part 3. These studies are biblically based. Hundreds of hours have been spent to insure the material is both relevant and accurate. May The Spirit lead you to God's truth. |
PART I |
TITHING IN THE OLD TESTAMENT Objective: To present an in-depth study of the Levitical tithe. Description: This course is organized in a logical order so that you will build on your knowledge of the tithe. Some of the material presented may be new to you and may seem irrelevant to the subject. As you progress through the course, the relevancy will become clear. We believe this to be an excellent source for learning the truth about the Biblical tithe. |
PART 2 |
WAS TITHING BROUGHT INTO THE NEW TESTAMENT Objective: To show that the requirement to tithe ended at the cross. Description: This study includes both the law of tithing and tithing outside the law. Using the King James Version of the Holy Bible in conjunction with Strongs Concordance and Strongs Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries, we determine the word tithe has different meanings in different verses. We determine if tithing can be brought into the New Testament, and if so, to what extent. This is a must study for the serious student of tithing. |
PART 3 |
THE ALTERNATIVE TO TITHING Objective: To show how the New Testament Church is to be financed. Description: This study covers many aspects of giving as taught in the New Testament. The study also compares and shows the differences between tithing and giving. |
